"The Contemporary Cowboy" is back in town. Returning home with four brand new versions of the hands of experienced, internationally active artists and producers. Electronic, club and dubb compatible. On the 11th of May this labelnumber 17 also appears in the form of 100 hand-formed vinyl.
"A Green Meadow", the electronic solo project of Ensemble du Verre founder Sönke Düwer is represented with two tracks. Part 1 and Part 2 are different interpretations of the same song. Once slowly meandering, deep and coming from the post dubstep and then more suitable for floor, housely with pulsing african percussion.
"Beingmarcfrank," and the name says it all, is the solo project of Marc Frank from Augsburg, known by such relevant acts as "Les Gammas", "Dubben", "7 Samurai" or "Panoptikum." His "Afropa" mix pulses itself into the hearts of jazz-loving dubfans. The magnificent tenor saxophone played by the Englishman Panrose Feast comes here once again to its full potential.
Rupert & Mennert, most recently by their compilations for "Compost" stepped into the spotlight, also lost their heart on the track "The Contemporary Cowboy". The two dutchmen contribute one extremely visionary and minimalistic mix.
The solo program of "A Green Meadow" is the first time at Hamburg's „Elbjazzfestival“ in the context of the Mojo Club in the 26th May present. Here, these four successful interpretations will surely be used.
